Now and then I like to recommend sources for historic information. I have a copy of this book and is quite well-made. The Martinsville Bulletin published the book "Martinsville & Henry County Memories: A Photographic History of the 1800s through the 1930s." in 2019. Considered heirloom-quality, this 128-page book features glimpses of life in and around Martinsville and Henry County with many historic photos the archives of the Martinsville-Henry County Historical Society, the Bassett Historical Center, the Blue Ridge Regional Library, and reader submissions.
